SIGHTS SELDOM SEEN - FLAG POLE, MADISON STREET POST OFFICE, DUBLIN, GEORGIA

Virtually every flag pole on all public buildings
in America are made of steel, iron, aluminum
or some type of metal.  The original  1912 flag pole
above Dublin's first permanent post office,
which still stands atop of the building,
is actually crafted from a tree.
